What platforms does SnapShot support?
SnapShot currently supports X (formerly Twitter). We capture the full post text, author info, engagement metrics, and a pixel-perfect screenshot with a tamper-proof server timestamp.
How are timestamps tamper-proof?
Every capture is timestamped server-side at the moment of save. The timestamp is immutable and cannot be edited by you, us, or anyone else after creation. This makes captures suitable for legal and journalistic use.
Can I still access captures if the original post is deleted?
Yes. That's the entire point. Once you capture a post with SnapShot, the full text, screenshot, and metadata are preserved permanently in your archive, even if the original is deleted, edited, or the account is suspended.
Is my data private?
Your captures are private to your account. We use Google OAuth for authentication, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and never sell or share your data. We don't run ads or trackers.
