What platforms does Snapshot.so support?
Snapshot.so currently supports X (formerly Twitter). We save the full post text, author info, engagement metrics, and a pixel-perfect screenshot with a permanent server timestamp.
How are timestamps tamper-proof?
Every capture is timestamped server-side at the moment of save. The timestamp is immutable and cannot be edited by you, us, or anyone else after creation. This makes captures suitable for legal and journalistic use.
Can I still access captures if the original post is deleted?
Yes. That's the entire point. Once you save a post with Snapshot.so, the full text, screenshot, and metadata are preserved permanently in your library, even if the original is deleted, edited, or the account is suspended.
Is my data private?
Your captures are private to your account. We use Google OAuth for authentication, encrypt data in transit and at rest, and never sell or share your data. We don't run ads or trackers.
What's included in the free plan?
The free plan includes 100 lifetime captures, full-text search, tagging, JSON export, and permanent timestamps. No credit card required. Upgrade to Professional for 1,000 snapshots/month and bulk export.
Can I export my data?
